Rafting On The Rio Das Contas

The thrilling rafting adventure unfolds in the charming city of Taboquinhas, set against the stunning backdrop of the Rio de Contas. This river is celebrated as one of Brazil's premier rafting destinations, offering exhilarating class 3 and 4 rapids.

Your day kicks off with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation at approximately 9:30 a.m. The journey then proceeds along the scenic route from Itacaré to Taboquinhas, covering a distance of 29 km.

Upon reaching the Taboquinhas farm, participants are warmly greeted by the rafting guide, who escorts them to the banks of the Contas River. Here, a rafting guide will conduct a brief theoretical lesson, detailing key rafting techniques and essential safety tips.

Following this informative session, it's time to paddle and indulge in an exhilarating hour and a half of rafting along the picturesque Rio de Contas. The adventure features five thrilling class 3 and 4 rapids, named Carrossel, Fumo, Funil, Corredor Pôlones, and Salto da Pancada, spanning a total distance of 3 km.

After the rafting excursion, the excitement continues as participants are treated to another adrenaline-pumping activity: ziplining. This exhilarating zipline stretches 170 meters across the blue waters of the Contas River. The zipline experience is offered as a complimentary bonus to guests, although availability may vary depending on the river level on the day of the tour.

The return journey to Itacaré is scheduled for around 3:00 p.m.
