Tour Description
The day starts with picking up the passengers in Itacaré and transporting them to Fazenda Vila Rosa, which is conveniently located on the Itacaré - Taboquinhas highway, approximately 30 minutes away from the city of Itacaré.
Upon arrival at Fazenda Vila Rosa, you'll be warmly welcomed by the local guide, who will offer a comprehensive tour of the farm, beginning with the cacao harvest. You'll observe firsthand how the harvest is conducted, followed by an introduction to the fermentation and drying stages of the cocoa.
After the drying process, the cocoa is brought to the chocolate factory, where it is ground, marking the start of the chocolate production process. At the chocolate factory, visitors will gain insights into the production techniques and have the chance to sample various delightful products, including natural cocoa, cocoa honey, homemade chocolate, and brownies.
Following the exploration of the cocoa process, guests will have the opportunity to discover the picturesque hamlet of Vila Rosa, delve into its rich history, and enjoy its enchanting garden, complete with a stone pool and reservoir. Don't miss the chance to enjoy a kayak ride available on site.
