Tour Description
The day starts with a transfer from your hotel in Itacaré to the Rio das Contas, where we will board a motorized canoe and sail upriver.
As we travel along the Rio das Contas, travelers will have the chance to witness the fascinating meeting of the salty sea waters with the fresh river waters. Throughout the journey, our guide will share captivating stories about the region, including the historic shipwreck of a steamship during the cocoa era.
While sailing upriver, participants will be able to spot beautiful birds such as hawks, herons, vultures, sabiás, toucans, and many others, as well as observe the mangroves lining the riverbanks, which are home to thousands of crabs.
Our final destination includes a short forest walk to the Cascada do Cleandro. This waterfall stands 26 meters high, featuring 3 cascades and 2 natural pools, ideal for a refreshing swim. Adjacent to the waterfall, there is a restaurant offering food, drinks, sweets, and artisan products.
On our return, we conclude the tour by enjoying the sunset at Pontal Beach, one of the city's most beautiful spots.
