Jeribucaçu Trail And Usina Waterfall
Embark on an authentic adventure amidst nature, blending the excitement of trekking through the lush Atlantic Forest with refreshing swims in waterfalls and relaxing moments on paradisiacal beaches.
Tour Description
The day starts with the collection of passengers from their accommodations in Itacaré. From there, the vehicle proceeds along the BA-001 Itacaré-Ilhéus highway, where we embark on a jungle trail.
The first stop is the stunning Cachoeira da Usina. This waterfall is named for its history as a power plant, operating from 1942 to 1971 to supply energy to local farms. Participants will have free time to take a refreshing dip in the waterfall.
The journey then continues to Jeribucaçu Beach, accessible via a 45-minute hike through the Atlantic Forest and mangroves. The destination is truly rewarding. The blend of white sandy beaches, the crystal-clear blue sea, and the Jeribucaçu River merging with the ocean creates a wonderful and paradisiacal setting. The beach is perfect for swimming, featuring medium-sized waves. For those seeking calmer waters, the Jeribucaçu River offers an ideal spot for swimming as well. In terms of amenities, there are kiosks on the beach offering drinks and a variety of food, including the renowned grilled fish, freshly caught by local fishermen.
After savoring free time at Jeribucaçu Beach, the next stop is Arruda Beach. Located just 10 minutes from Jeribucaçu Beach, it features natural pools (depending on the tide), providing a perfect setting for relaxation in its warm waters.
The return to Itacaré is scheduled for late afternoon, around 4:00 p.m.
