Tour Description
Our journey begins with the collection of guests from selected hotels to explore Pelourinho, a neighborhood nestled in the historical heart, famed for its baroque architecture.
Experience the allure of a Bahian evening with a vibrant folkloric show featuring key elements of the Afro-Bahian culture, including the Samba de roda (an early form of samba danced by slaves after the capoeira roda), the Puxada de rede (hammock pulling) or the fishermen's dance, the Maculelê, Capoeira (a blend of dance and martial arts with African roots, brought to Brazil by slaves as a means of defense), a performance of the dance of the orixás, and rhythms of Candomblé (an African-derived religion showcasing various orixás and their attributes).
While enjoying dinner, savor the varied and flavorful dishes representative of Bahian cuisine.
Following our visit, we will return to the hotels, marking the conclusion of the tour.
