Tour Description
Day 1: Arrival in Salvador
Upon your arrival at Salvador airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your chosen hotel, conveniently situated in the city center. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 2: Historical City Tour
Your exploration begins with a departure from selected hotels to visit some of Salvador's most significant landmarks, where the city's rich history is vividly evident through its streets, squares, and churches.
Our journey starts at the Bar Lighthouse and continues to Cidade Alta via the Victory Corridor, Campo Grande, and Piedade. This modern section of the city boasts impressive buildings and shopping centers; the streets and avenues buzz with activity, marking it as Salvador's economic hub.
We will then stroll through the Municipal Square, home to the Rio Branco Palace and the Town Hall, situated opposite the Lacerda Elevator. From here, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Bay of All Saints.
From the elevator's viewpoint, we will admire the Upper City, the Lower City, and the diverse angles offered by the streets and houses of Pelô. Our tour continues to the Terreiro de Jesús, where the Cathedral Basilica of the Savior resides, and we will visit the Church of San Francisco, renowned as one of Brazil's most opulent and an exquisite example of Portuguese baroque architecture worldwide.
Our tour concludes at Largo do Pelourinho, a vibrant area blending colors, cultures, and history. This site, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was immortalized by the famous writer Jorge Amado.
Afterward, we will return passengers to their respective hotels.
