Please refer to the official description to confirm activities and schedules.

The best time to visit Brazil depends on your interests. Rio de Janeiro and Salvador have a tropical climate year-round. High season runs from December to March, with summer, lively beaches, New Year's Eve celebrations, and Carnival; it's hotter and there's a chance of brief showers. Between April and June and August and November, the weather is pleasant, there are fewer tourists, and better prices on hotels and tours. The "winter" (June-August) in Rio is mild, ideal for city tours and urban trails. Pack light clothing, comfortable shoes, a lightweight raincoat, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Check for local events that may affect availability and tour package prices.

The price of the tour package typically includes hotel accommodation with breakfast, airport transfers, guided city tours in Spanish/Portuguese, and entrance fees to attractions listed in the itinerary. Some packages may include domestic flights between cities and 24/7 assistance services. International flights, lunches and dinners, drinks, tips, local taxes, optional excursions, and travel insurance are usually not included. We recommend reviewing the "Includes/Does Not Include" section of the tour and requesting a final quote in your currency. Also, check baggage policies for domestic flights, check-in/check-out times, and any applicable supplements for single rooms or special seasons such as Carnival.

For this excursion to Brazil, bring a valid passport (or national identity card for some Mercosur citizens, depending on regulations). Visa requirements depend on your nationality; check with the Brazilian consulate before booking. No vaccinations are usually required for Rio and Salvador, but it's advisable to be up-to-date on your yellow fever vaccination and basic vaccination schedule if you plan to explore jungle areas. Purchase travel insurance that covers medical assistance, cancellations, and unforeseen events. Electricity in Brazil is either 127V or 220V depending on the city; plugs are type N (sometimes C). Bring a universal adapter. Stay informed about current health and immigration requirements.

Before confirming your Rio de Janeiro and Salvador de Bahia tour booking, carefully review the payment, change, and cancellation policies. Many operators offer refundable or flexible rates with specific deadlines; after that, penalties may apply for ground services and domestic flights. Check for special conditions during holidays, Carnival, or New Year's. It's advisable to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations for justified reasons, delays, lost luggage, and medical assistance. Request written confirmation of hotels, schedules, and booking reference numbers. Keep all payment receipts and read the fine print to avoid surprises.
