Frequently Asked Questions

The tour package to Brazil generally includes accommodation with breakfast, airport-hotel-airport transfers, guided tours in Spanish/Portuguese, and entrance fees as indicated in the itinerary (Iguazu Falls, ecotourism activities in Bonito, and the main viewpoints/beaches in Fernando de Noronha). Depending on the program, domestic flights between destinations may be included. International flights, unspecified meals, optional snorkeling/diving equipment, tips, travel insurance, and local environmental taxes, such as the Noronha Environmental Preservation Tax (TPA), are not typically included. Please check the trip details on the Best Brazil Tours website for complete information on services, hotel category, and terms and conditions.

Foz do Iguaçu has a warm, humid summer (December–March) with impressive water flow at the falls; from May to August there is less rain and pleasant temperatures. In Bonito, the dry season (approximately April–September) offers clearer waters for floating and snorkeling; in summer the waterfalls are at their most powerful. Fernando de Noronha has a tropical climate: September–November usually offers calmer seas and great visibility for diving, while December–March is ideal for surfing due to larger waves. During peak season (January, July, and holidays), it is advisable to book flights, hotels, and excursions well in advance to ensure availability and better rates.

Most travelers require a valid passport (or other valid travel document depending on nationality); some countries do not require a visa for short-stay tourism. A yellow fever vaccination is recommended for jungle regions, and travel insurance with medical coverage is essential. In Fernando de Noronha, the Environmental Preservation Tax (TPA) is mandatory per day of stay, as is the entrance fee to the Marine National Park. These can be paid online or upon arrival. In Bonito, certain attractions charge conservation fees with limited capacity and require prior reservation. Check current requirements with your consulate and Best Brazil Tours.

A well-balanced itinerary for this combined trip typically lasts between 9 and 12 days. It usually includes 2–3 nights in Foz do Iguaçu to explore the National Park (Brazilian side and, if booked, the Argentinian side), 3–4 nights in Bonito to float on crystal-clear rivers and visit caves and waterfalls, and 3–4 nights in Fernando de Noronha for beaches, snorkeling, and boat trips. Domestic flights often require connections (e.g., via Campo Grande and Recife/Natal). The pace is moderate, with free days to enjoy. The final itinerary can be customized to suit your interests, budget, and the season.

The price of the tour package varies depending on the season (high or low), hotel category, flight availability, duration, and optional activities. Each package is quoted individually and includes the taxes specified in the proposal. A deposit is generally required to confirm reservations, and the balance is due before departure using secure payment methods. Cancellations and changes are subject to the policies of each supplier (hotels, airlines, tour operators), with penalties increasing the closer to the travel date; some promotional services are non-refundable.
