Tour Description
Our journey begins as we depart from the hotel in Maceió, heading towards the Municipality of Piaçabuçu. Here, we will board a schooner along the banks of the São Francisco River. Often referred to as Velho Chico, this river holds the title of the largest entirely Brazilian river, offering us the unique opportunity to witness its confluence with the Atlantic Ocean. As this area is under environmental protection, you will have the chance to marvel at the exotic landscapes of untouched nature, shifting dunes, rare bird species, and islands that embellish every part of this itinerary.
We will pause at the point where the River meets the Sea, allowing you to stroll among the white dunes and take a dip in the mystical waters of the São Francisco River, as the locals describe them. Before heading back to the hotel, we will stop for a delightful lunch.
