Grotto Of Saint Michael

The excursion starts with guests being picked up from their hotels in downtown Bonito, heading towards the Vale Anhumas Ecological Park, located 23 km from the city center.

We will kick off with a short introduction about the cave, where the guides will share insights into its geological formation and other fascinating details. This will be followed by an extensive walk, where we will encounter birds such as guavas, trogons, tanagers, macaws, and other local wildlife. The walk includes crossing a 200-meter-long suspension bridge, offering breathtaking views from the treetops. We will proceed along the trail for another 150 meters to reach the entrance of one of the oldest sinkholes in the world, featuring natural sculptures that are over 600 million years old, providing a glimpse into the evolution of our planet. The tour concludes with the return of each guest to their hotel in Bonito.
