Tour Description
The adventure begins at 08:30 AM as we embark on one of the renowned motorboats to explore the magnificent Preguiças River. We will journey across the serene waters of this grand river, making our way to the three communities scheduled for our visit. The sections of the river we will navigate are captivating, offering the opportunity to admire the diverse fauna and flora along the riverbanks, including igarapés, mangroves, buritis, pé de Juçara, tucunzeiros, as well as birds like the maçaric herons.
Our first destination is the community of Vassouras, where we can stroll through the dunes and enjoy a refreshing coconut water. This community is also home to several playful little monkeys that engage with visitors, ensuring moments filled with laughter and joy. Next, we proceed to the village known as Mandacarú. Here, we will ascend a 35-meter high lighthouse that offers a breathtaking view of the river, its confluence with the sea, and the region's lush vegetation.
Following our visit to the iconic lighthouse, we will make our way to the final stop in the Preguiças River, the community of Caburé. This quaint town is uniquely divided by the waters of the river and the sea, making it an ideal spot for those looking to swim and cool off.
Our tour concludes with this stunning scenery, and at around 3:00 PM, we will begin our return journey aboard the motorboat.
