The tour kicks off with a hotel pick-up in Rio. We set off in a Jeep towards the historic Santa Teresa neighborhood.
Santa Teresa is renowned for its colonial architecture and vibrant art scene. The area boasts cobblestone streets and grand old mansions, many of which now house galleries and cafes. The iconic Rio Santa Teresa Tram also winds through this neighborhood.
Following this, we prepare for our excursion to Tijuca National Park. We’ll delve into this expansive urban forest, rich with trails, waterfalls, and diverse flora and fauna. The park provides a tranquil escape from Rio's lively urban environment. At this stage, we switch from the Jeep to a vehicle equipped for the ascent to Mount Corcovado.
Christ the Redeemer Ascent
Perched at 710 meters above sea level, the Christ the Redeemer statue looks out over Rio de Janeiro. Revealed in 1931, this 38-meter statue is a lasting emblem of faith and Brazilian heritage.
